Mero Mero
Mero Mero, from Annecy to Vietnam.
Born in Annecy
Mero Mero is a French brand, born between lake and mountains. Its first bag, a messenger bag, was inspired by two children, Clémence and Léon. The brand is a member of 1% for the Planet and gives 1% of its turnover to environmental organisations.
Sewn in Vietnam
Since late 2018, manufacturing has been in Vietnam, with a partner specialised in technical stitching: paragliding canopies, harnesses, backpacks. The factory is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and passes the WRAP audit every year.
Repaired in France
The brand plans for repair from the design stage and works with workshops in France, in Annecy and Lyon.

Questions
What comes with the bag, and what is sold separately?
The bag comes with the roll-top, the back access, the front pocket, the sternum strap with whistle and the inside pockets. The hip belt, photo case, dry bag, straps and helmet net are bought separately, each with its own product page.
Is the Aravis waterproof?
No. The fabric is PU-coated (2000 mm) and water-repellent, PFC-free: it stands up to rain. To keep sensitive kit dry, the Aravis has its own 25 L dry bag, sold separately.
Will it take a camera, a DSLR and lenses?
Yes, with the photo case, sold separately: six removable dividers for the DSLR, lenses and drone. It slides into the bag and you reach it through the back opening.
Can I attach touring skis?
Yes, with the straps, sold separately: they fix to the bag's attachment points on the front, the sides or underneath. The helmet net, also sold separately, clips onto the front.
Will it take a laptop?
Yes, the padded front pocket is designed for a laptop. Its maximum size is not given: measure your laptop before ordering.
Aravis or Squamish V3?
Same family. The Aravis goes from 25 to 45 litres, opens from the back and weighs 1,400 g; you build it up with options. The Squamish V3 goes from 20 to 40 litres, weighs 600 g and takes a 17-inch laptop in a separate pocket: it is enough for the city and the office.
What does the guarantee cover?
The 2-year legal guarantee goes through Eiken. Beyond that, up to 10 years against manufacturing defects and abnormal wear, you contact Mero Mero directly. Zips are covered for 2 years.
