    What must stay dry, kept apart inside the bag

    It attaches inside the Aravis with its YKK zips and keeps sensitive kit dry. On the way back it works the other way round: wet things stay in it, away from the camera gear.

    The same zip closes it on itself: it comes out of the bag and works on its own, closed by a quick-release buckle. Its sealed seams and 4000 mm PU coating are what make it waterproof; the Aravis itself stands up to rain without being waterproof.
