The Klettersack is the classic Topo Designs backpack: 25 litres of recycled 1000D nylon, a flap with two buckles over a drawcord, four full-grain leather lash tabs. From campus to the meeting room, your 16-inch slides into its sleeve under the flap. On Saturday, with a fleece under the drawcord, it heads out onto the trail, tall and slim against your back.

A 16-inch under the flap, a 15-inch in the outer sleeve.

Under the flap, a sleeve takes most 16-inch laptops. The second, padded, opens from the outside, along the back panel, and takes most 15-inch laptops: the laptop comes out without undoing the buckles.

What fits inside

25L

25 litres under the flap: the laptop, a fleece, a water bottle on each side.

The flap closes with two buckles and carries a zipped pocket. Beneath it, a drawcord cinches the main compartment, lined in yellow. On the sides, two compression straps pull the pack in when it's half empty.
