STREAM Lid Backpack 16": 40 cm tall, a flap that buckles, and the 16-inch fits inside.

The STREAM Lid Backpack 16" is a 20-litre waterproof Sandqvist backpack weighing 500 g, in PU-coated recycled polyester with a matt finish. No roll-top to fuss with: just fold the flap over and click the buckle shut. Headphones go in the zipped pocket in the flap, the laptop in its padded pocket, and the wet fabric wipes dry in one pass of a cloth.

The same 20 litres, the same weight (500 g), and both take a 16-inch. The Lid closes with a buckled flap, with a zipped pocket on the flap. The 2-Way Tote opens with a zip, has a zipped front pocket and can also be carried in the hand by its two handles, like a tote.

Does the STREAM Lid 16" fit under the seat on a plane?

At 40 × 28 × 14 cm, it only just fits Ryanair's free small bag (40 × 30 × 20 cm), with no spare height, and fits easyJet's (45 × 36 × 20 cm) more easily. As a cabin bag, it fits the 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 55 × 35 × 25 cm limits. Size limits checked in October 2026: check your ticket.
