It is highly water-resistant thanks to its PU coating and PFC-free DWR (C0) treatment. The Squamish Pocket will handle rain, splashes and daily storms without a problem, but it’s not designed to be fully submersible.

Does it fit a 17" laptop?

Yes. The independent padded sleeve fits laptops up to 17" (approx. 30 x 40 cm) and can be accessed from both the top and the side – super convenient for airport security or coworking sessions.

Is the Squamish Pocket good for weekend trips?

Absolutely. With its adjustable 20–40L volume, it’s ideal for 2–3 day adventures. Filled up, it takes everything you need (clothes, tech, wash bag, extras); rolled down, it feels like a compact everyday backpack. It also fits most airline cabin size limits when rolled.

Can I use it as a camera bag or baby changing backpack?

Yes. The Squamish Pocket’s main compartment is designed to work with compatible padded inserts, so you can turn it into a camera or baby changing setup if you wish. These inserts are not included with the backpack and can be purchased separately from MeroMero.
