On the move

The insert, the laptop, the tripod: everything goes in one bag.

What fits inside

Without the insert, it's a backpack that opens all the way.

The main compartment opens right down to the bottom. Mesh pockets in the flap hold memory cards, cables and batteries.

The details

What you reach for during a shoot.

Top pocket open with headphones inside, a water bottle in the side pocket — **Top pocket**It opens without opening the bag and fits a pair of headphones. The water bottle goes in the side pocket.

Ramverk Pro 26L opened flat, the removed hip belt beside it — **Removable hip belt**It shifts the weight onto your hips on heavy days, and comes off in town.

Side strapsAdjustable, on both sides: for a tripod, or skis.

Laptop

The laptop comes out through the back.

The 16-inch pocket is padded and opens on the back-panel side: you take the laptop out without touching your camera gear.

Up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro

In the cabin

The Ramverk Pro 26L in the cabin: in the overhead locker, with your camera gear.

It fits the overhead locker: camera bodies and lenses travel with you, not in the hold.

Under the seat

Personal item, free on most flights.

Overhead locker

The cabin bag, above the seats.

In the hold

Too big for the cabin.

Dimensions 50 × 31 × 16 cmSize limit met 55 × 35 × 25 cm and 55 × 40 × 20 cm

With a full insert, weigh it: many airlines also limit cabin baggage weight.

Size limits: Eiken's calculation from the bag's dimensions. Each airline sets its own rules.

Eiken's take

Why we chose it: For the photographer who doesn't want a second bag: on Monday it carries the laptop, on Saturday the M insert. On your back, nothing changes.
Worth knowing: 1.5 kg empty, and the M insert adds 0.82 kg before the first lens goes in: the hip belt isn't a gimmick.
Who it's for: Photographers and videographers who head out with a body and a few lenses, and keep using the bag the rest of the week.

Baptiste, Eiken

Questions

Which camera insert fits the Ramverk Pro 26L?

One M insert (15 L), or two S inserts. The inserts are sold separately; Eiken sells the M. The L insert is too deep and only fits the Ramverk Pro 32L.

Ramverk Pro 26L or 32L?

Choose the 26L if your gear fits in the M insert: same height and width as the 32L, 5 cm less depth. The 32L also takes the L insert. The 26L is made for one to two days of travel, the 32L for one to three.

Can the Ramverk Pro 26L carry a tripod?

Yes, on its front or side straps. Db also designs them for a board or a yoga mat.

Does the Ramverk Pro 26L fit as hand luggage?

Yes, in the overhead locker: 50 × 31 × 16 cm. Mind the weight if the insert is full.
