Db Journey Ramverk Laptop Sleeve 16" - A 16-Inch Laptop Sleeve for Travel Days (340 g)

Airport security, the tray sliding towards you, the queue at your back. The big laptop has to come out, the passport is needed ten minutes later, and one hand is on the suitcase. The Db Journey Ramverk Laptop Sleeve 16" is built for that sequence: a 16-inch laptop sleeve that keeps laptop and passport together and rides on the suitcase handle in between.

A 16-inch laptop is awkward to carry by hand all day. This sleeve has a trolley pass-through band on the back that slides over the handle of a rolling suitcase, and an adjustable shoulder strap that tucks away when you do not need it. On your shoulder through the terminal, flat against the case on the long walk to the gate.

Two concealed pockets take a passport and an AirTag, and a front pocket holds the charger. The shell is 100% recycled polyamide over a 100% recycled, dope-dyed polyester lining. For a 16-inch laptop, the whole sleeve weighs 340 g at 28 x 39 cm, and stays 3.5 cm deep.

How does the sleeve attach to a suitcase?

With the trolley pass-through: a band across the back of the sleeve that slides down over the extended handle of a rolling suitcase. The sleeve then sits flat against the front of the case and rolls with it, leaving both hands free for the boarding pass.

Is there a place for my passport, and is the AirTag included?

Yes to the first: the sleeve has a concealed passport pocket, plus a second concealed pocket for an AirTag. The AirTag itself is not included; slip in your own and you can follow the sleeve from your phone. Charger, cable and mouse go in the front pocket.

How much protection does the 16" sleeve give a big laptop?

Db says the sleeve keeps your laptop protected, but publishes no padding figure, so we do not promise drop protection. It is a slim, lined sleeve, 3.5 cm deep. If the laptop faces rough handling, slide the sleeve into a backpack with its own laptop compartment and let both layers share the work.

Can I carry the 16-inch sleeve as a shoulder bag?

Yes. Db designed it as a wearable laptop sleeve, with an adjustable shoulder strap; its photos show it worn on one shoulder, the sleeve at the hip. When it rides on the suitcase or goes into another bag, the strap tucks away.

Is the Ramverk sleeve made for wet weather?

Db gives no water-resistance rating for its Ramverk laptop sleeves, so we do not claim one. Between the taxi and the terminal door, keep the sleeve under your jacket or inside your bag when it rains, and let the suitcase take the weather.

How do I look after the Ramverk Laptop Sleeve 16"?

Take the laptop out, empty the front and concealed pockets, and shake out the dust. Wipe the shell with lukewarm water, a little mild soap and a soft cloth. Skip the washing machine and the tumble dryer, and let it dry open, away from direct heat, before the laptop goes back in.
