The Black Hole Mini MLC 30L is a 30-litre Patagonia cabin backpack: the compact version of the MLC 45L, designed for the airlines that are strictest about cabin size. Thursday evening, the 15-inch laptop in its lay-flat compartment, two nights of clothes on the other side, the water bottle in its outside pocket; Monday morning, straps tucked away, it heads back to the office like a briefcase.
