The ICON Rolltop Backpack 14" is a roll-top Sandqvist backpack: 23 litres, 560 g, water-resistant recycled polyester and leather details. At 12 cm deep, it stays flat against your back in a packed carriage. The laptop has its own zipped pocket at the back: you take it out from the side and the top stays rolled.

The roll-top covers a zip; roll it tight when the pack is light, unroll it when you put more in. Inside, a zipped mesh pocket holds the small things. Outside, a zipped front pocket, two open pockets for a water bottle or sunglasses, and side straps for a jacket or a sit mat.

What are the dimensions and weight of the ICON Rolltop 14-inch?

60 × 26 × 12 cm (height, width, depth) and 560 g empty, for 23 litres. The laptop pocket measures 26 × 38 cm.

Is the ICON 14" waterproof?

No, it's water-resistant: the fabric copes with light rain and everyday splashes. In steady rain, water eventually gets through; a pouch for anything that mustn't get wet is all you need.

Is this the Ilon?

Yes: the ICON Rolltop Backpack 14" is the Ilon, reworked and renamed. Sandqvist also calls it the ICON Rolltop Backpack M.

Does the ICON 14-inch fit in the cabin on easyJet, Ryanair or Air France?

As a cabin bag, its 60 cm height is 5 cm over the 55 cm limits (Ryanair, Air France) and 4 cm over easyJet's large cabin bag (56 cm); width and depth are fine. When the pack is lightly loaded, the top rolls down further: measure it before you fly. Size limits checked in October 2026: check with your airline.

Is there any leather?

Yes: the tab on the roll-top strap and the details are leather, from tanneries rated Gold or Silver by the Leather Working Group. A little leather balm now and then keeps them supple.
