Just what I needed!

Got this bag for daily use and small travels as a student.
My large laptop (Lenovo Legion Y530) just barely fits, but it fits with case! Alongside lunch, a folder full of notes, chargers and other daily carries, it is still comfortable.
The leather develops a nice patina, I've even been able to use the cover/straps to carry a sleeping bag on top. The plentiful side pockets make for good organising and easy access. I even put my water bottle in one of them and it holds nicely!

The only downside I noticed is that the shoulder straps are a bit long. I'm 186cm tall but the bag still hangs low on my back on the shortest setting. The adjustment is easy, but I feel like the adjustable could probably be made shorter. Don't get me wrong, it still hangs comfortably, but I am considering putting in some stitches myself to shorten it and get the backpack hanging higher.

Fabulous multi purpose go anywhere rucksack

I was hesitant to buy from Eiken because I have had several bags from Troop London, which were always good. But I couldn't resist the great vintage styling and leather detail which put it above other bags I looked at. I haven't been at all disappointed. It has lots of pockets so I don't lose anything and plenty of space in the main compartment. In fact I have carried two laptops in it for work as well as the usual diary, phone, pens, and A4 note pad, which left the exterior pockets free for snack bars, dog accessories, purse etc. If I had to pick anything that could be improved, it would be to be able to buy this bag according to height. I think it could comfortably be worn by someone who is 6'2", and whilst I don't find it uncomfortable, I'm 5'6" and would benefit from slightly shorter straps. As it is I wear it with the minimum strap length. I haven't used it for my camera yet, but I have packed a great picnic and used as weekend luggage. It really is a great multi-purpose lovely quality bag. And great service too!
