The Atom Daypack 24L is a 24-litre Patagonia backpack for work and play alike, designed for shorter torsos and smaller frames. On Thursday it carries the 13-inch laptop to the office; on Sunday, the hydration reservoir and two water bottles for the loop through the woods. Is the Atom Daypack 24L waterproof?

It's water-repellent, not waterproof: the coated, treated fabric makes light rain bead up. For a full day in the rain, take a rain cover.

Does the Atom Daypack 24L fit in the cabin on easyJet, Ryanair or Air France?

As a cabin bag, yes, everywhere: 41 × 30 × 18 cm fits within Ryanair's 55 × 40 × 20 cm (Priority), Air France's 55 × 35 × 25 cm and easyJet's 56 × 45 × 25 cm. As the free under-seat bag, it fits on easyJet (45 × 36 × 20 cm); on Ryanair (40 × 30 × 20 cm) it's 1 cm too tall, and on Air France (40 × 30 × 15 cm) 1 cm too tall and 3 cm too deep. Size limits checked in October 2026: check with your airline before you fly.

Will a 14 or 15-inch laptop fit in the Atom Daypack 24L?

No: the removable sleeve is made for a 13-inch (33 cm) at most. For a 15-inch, take the Refugio Daypack 26L, cut for most adults.
