Db Journey Ramverk Tech Organizer - The Tech Pouch That Opens Like a Book (170 g)

The one free socket at the gate is under the seat beside you, and your phone is almost dead. You unzip the pouch, it opens flat in two halves, and the charger, the cable and the adapter are all there in plain sight, each held in its own place. That is the Db Journey Ramverk Tech Organizer.

Most cable bags are a sack with a zip. This tech pouch works the other way round: a clamshell opening lays everything out like a book, with a flap for the cables, mesh pockets for the small parts and a structured shelf inside so nothing ends up in a heap.

The shell is water-resistant ripstop in 100% recycled polyamide, lined with 100% recycled, dope-dyed polyester. At 12.5 x 18 x 9.5 cm and 170 g, it disappears into a backpack or a duffel, or hangs on its own strap across your chest. Db designed it in Oslo and makes it in Vietnam.

Two Halves, Every Cable in Sight

A tech pouch earns its place in the minute you need something from it. Here is what that minute looks like.

How does the clamshell opening work?

The zip runs round the pouch and it opens flat in two halves, like a book. The cable flap and a mesh pocket sit on one side, a second mesh pocket on the other, so you see the whole kit at once instead of searching from the top.

Can I wear it on its own?

Yes. The cross-body strap lets you wear it across the chest as a small bag for a day out. When the pouch goes into a backpack or a duffel, the strap tucks away so it does not tangle with the rest of your kit.

Will it protect a camera or a hard drive?

That is not its job. Db presents it as an organizer for cables and small essentials, and gives no protection rating for fragile gear. A camera body and lenses belong in a dedicated insert such as the Ramverk Camera Insert M; the cards and cables that go with them belong here.

Will it handle rain?

Light rain, yes. The shell is water-resistant ripstop, enough for a shower on the way. It is not a dry bag, so in a long downpour keep it inside your pack or under your jacket.

Tech Organizer or Tablet Organizer: which one do I need?

If a tablet travels with you, the Tablet Organizer (420 g) carries it with the chargers around it. If only the cables need a home, the Tech Organizer does it at 170 g and slips into any bag you already own.

How do I clean the Ramverk Tech Organizer?

Empty it, shake out the dust that gathers in the corners and wipe the ripstop with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Let it dry open at room temperature before the cables go back in.
