Note: full grain leather is a natural material, which may have small traces, veins or marks inherent to the material. Scratches can be easily removed by lightly rubbing them with a cloth impregnated with vegetable oil. The color of the leather might slightly varies depending on the batches.

Oil immersed leather products can be prone by nature to colour transference on light fabrics. To avoid that, please make sure to dry your leather if it gets wet or if exposed to hot temperatures and try avoid contact with light coloured fabrics.

Is the TYREE made from real leather?

Yes, and not a thin split either: crazy horse leather, a full grain hide immersed in oil. That treatment is what gives the surface its matte, slightly weathered look, and it is why the bag only gets better with age.

Why do marks appear on crazy horse leather, and do they stay?

Scratches and pressure marks surface easily on crazy horse leather: that is the point. Most fade again when you rub them with your thumb, and the rest settle into the patina the hide builds over the years. Our EVEREST crazy horse backpack is cut from the same family of hides and ages the same way.

Does it fit a laptop?

Yes: the interior carries a dedicated laptop sleeve, plus a zipper pocket and a slot pocket for the small items. The main compartment leaves room for books and the rest of a working day around the computer.

How big is the backpack?

14 L, in a 41 cm x 28 cm x 12 cm softback silhouette that stays close to the back, at 1.3 kg. Front zipped pockets and a side slot pocket keep the quick-access items out of the main space.

Can I take it travelling?

How do I care for crazy horse leather?

Rub light scratches with a cloth and a little vegetable oil and they melt back into the surface. If the bag gets wet or has sat in the heat, let it dry naturally and keep it off light coloured fabrics, as the oil immersed hide can transfer some colour. The TYREE is covered by our 2-year warranty.
