Db · Backcountry Backpack 25L
Backcountry 25L: skis or board on the pack, and access through the back.
Db's Backcountry 25L is a 25-litre off-piste ski and snowboard backpack. When the climb is on foot, it carries skis in an A-frame or a board on its stowable straps, and opens through the back without undoing anything. Shovel and probe have their own dedicated compartment.
Off-piste · Ski · Snowboard
A ridge on foot, skis on the shoulder, the run down still to come.

On the snow
Skis outside, avalanche kit inside.

Db builds in no RECCO reflector and no airbag: your own avalanche safety kit remains essential.

What fits inside

A back-panel flap: you open the pack without taking the skis off.
The access flap on the back opens the main compartment without undoing the A-frame or removing the board. Away from the mountains, the same compartment holds shoes and headphones.

Eiken's take
- Why we chose it
- It carries the full kit list for an off-piste day without bulking up: avalanche kit, water, radio and goggles each have their place, within 14.5 cm of depth.
- Worth knowing
- 1.35 kg empty, 300 g more than the Backcountry 20L, and no laptop pocket: it's a mountain pack first.
- Who it's for
- Skiers and snowboarders who leave the lifts to climb on foot, skis or board on their back, ice axe included.
