We cut each PALERMO from crazy horse leather: full grain hide immersed in oils until the color runs deep and uneven, no two panels alike. PALERMO FAQ

How many pens fit in the PALERMO leather pen case?

Two to three standard pens sit comfortably in the single 16 x 7 cm compartment. With one pen the case stays very flat; with three it fills out but the flap still snaps shut.

Will the case scratch my fountain pen?

No. The interior is the raw suede side of the hide, soft and unfinished, so nibs, clips and lacquered barrels slide against fibre rather than a hard surface.

What is crazy horse leather?

Full grain leather immersed in oils and waxes. Every scuff and scratch shows at first, then fades when you rub it with your fingers or a soft cloth. Over months of use the coffee color darkens into a patina unique to your case.

Does a full-size fountain pen fit?

Yes. The case is 16 cm tall, so pens up to roughly 15 cm long fit with the flap closed, which covers almost all fountain pens, ballpoints and pencils. Oversize pens beyond 15 cm will keep the flap from snapping.

How does it close?
