25+5L: what does it really change in real-world use?

It gives you two packs in one: a compact 25L setup when you’re moving light, and an additional +5L margin when you add layers, skins, a down jacket or extra food. Extremely useful in the mountains where weather and effort often require “one more layer.”

Is it truly suitable for ski touring?

Yes. It features a side ski carry system for bootpack sections, and a mountain-focused carry design. The format is ideal for day tours: water, skins, insulation layer, gloves, safety gear and food — without unnecessary volume.

What about climbing or mountaineering: rope, helmet, ice axes?

Yes — that’s part of its DNA: rope holder, FPP™ ice axe attachments, and an organization system designed for action. It allows you to secure equipment externally without unbalancing the carry.

Is it resistant to rain? (1,000 mm, DWR…)

The fabric and lining offer 1,000 mm water resistance combined with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment. It handles light moisture, snow and short showers very well. For prolonged heavy rain, a rain cover or waterproof internal dry bags are recommended.

Is it compatible with a hydration system?

Yes. It includes a hydration sleeve, allowing you to stay hydrated without removing the pack while moving — ideal during active hiking, ascents or cold conditions.

What load is comfortable with such a light pack (610 g)?

It’s designed for a technical mountain day load: water, layers, safety kit and lightweight equipment. The waist strap, chest strap, load lifters and side compression system help stabilize the load and reduce movement on uneven terrain.

How should I maintain it properly?

Hand wash at a maximum of 40°C with mild soap and air dry. Avoid tumble drying, bleach, ironing and dry cleaning.
