Two laptops, and you never empty the bag.

The Bergen Ultra carries two laptops in two separate fleece-lined sleeves: one opens from the outside of the back, so it comes out without opening the bag; the other sits in a main compartment whose front opens all the way. The small things live on the sides: the keys on a carabiner, the phone and its cable in an organiser, a bottle in its own zipped pocket. 17 litres, 0.9 kg, recycled ripstop, water-repellent.

Can I really carry two laptops?

Yes, if one of them is small: the large sleeve takes a 15.6-inch PC or a 16-inch MacBook, the small one a 14-inch laptop, a MacBook Air 13 or a tablet. Two 16-inch laptops do not fit together.

Is it rainproof?

The recycled ripstop is water-repellent: rain beads off on the way to work. It isn't made to be submerged.

Can it go in the cabin?

At 42.5 × 29 × 13.5 cm it fits the usual 55 × 40 × 20 cm and 55 × 35 × 25 cm cabin allowances, and a 45 × 36 × 20 cm under-seat one; for 40 cm under-seat allowances it is too tall.
