The Haliburton Canvas Camera Backpack combines the organization of a dedicated photography bag with the character of a traditional waxed canvas rucksack. Its 20L capacity, padded camera compartment, removable dividers and side access make it practical for carrying a DSLR or mirrorless setup without the look of a technical equipment case.

Inside, adjustable foam dividers help separate your camera body, lenses and accessories. A dedicated laptop sleeve and additional pockets provide space for the equipment and everyday items that travel alongside your camera.

Camera Protection Without the Technical Look

Waxed cotton canvas, Crazy Horse leather and antiqued brass hardware give Haliburton a warmer, more understated appearance than a conventional black camera bag. The leather flap, reinforced handle and strap details add structure without making the design feel rigid.

Beneath the vintage exterior is a padded interior designed around photography equipment. The removable dividers can be repositioned to suit different camera bodies, lenses and accessories, helping reduce movement while the backpack is being carried.

Side Access for Quicker Camera Retrieval

The side-access panel lets you reach the camera compartment without opening the backpack from the top. It is a useful detail when moving between locations, walking through a city or shooting outdoors.

Instead of rearranging the entire contents of the bag, you can retrieve the equipment positioned closest to the opening while leaving the rest of the interior in place.

Waxed Canvas and Full-Grain Leather

The waxed canvas provides a water-repellent surface for light rain and everyday exposure to moisture. Full-grain Crazy Horse leather reinforces the flap and key contact points, while brass buckles and rivets complete the rugged finish.

Haliburton is water-repellent, not fully waterproof. It is not a sealed dry bag or hard-shell camera case. During heavy or prolonged rain, electronics should be protected with an additional waterproof sleeve or rain cover.

Waxed canvas and leather naturally develop creases, small marks and variations in tone. These are part of the materials rather than defects, and they help each backpack build its own patina over time.
