It sits between a sleeve and a briefcase. A sleeve protects the laptop and stops there; this laptop crossbody bag holds what a working day piles up around it: charger, cables, headphones, a notebook, a water bottle. Each has its place, so a dead battery at the gate is a zip away, not a search.

The shell is 100% recycled polyamide, the lining 100% recycled, dope-dyed polyester, coloured in the fibre before it is spun. At 27.5 x 39 x 11 cm and 570 g empty, it stays slim enough to carry under the arm and rides on a suitcase handle through the airport. Db designed it in Oslo and makes it in Vietnam.
