Bij de beveiligingscontrole op het vliegveld of in de trein haal je de laptop uit de Helsinki zonder hem open te maken: een vak van 38 × 25 cm achterop gaat van buitenaf open. Past mijn MacBook van 16 inch erin?

Ja. Volgens Kapten & Son past in de Helsinki een laptop van 15,6 inch of een MacBook van 16 inch: een 16 inch gaat in het gepolsterde binnenvak (41 × 25 × 2 cm). Het vak achterop, 38 × 25 cm, gaat van buitenaf open en is voor een tablet of een laptop tot 15 inch.

Kan hij tegen regen?

De stof is waterafstotend, net als de ritsen van het kleine en het platte voorvak en van het vak achterop: op weg naar je werk parelt de regen eraf. Hij is niet gemaakt om ondergedompeld te worden.
